Empowering Team Interviewers

Companies are changing the way they organize work. One such change is the move to self-managed work teams. Teams set their own goals, measure their own performance and select additional members. This leads to the need for many new skills for team members, including how to interview candidates.

A sign we see in the maturity of a work team once it is trained in interviewing skills is a willingness to delegate the selection process to some members of the team and not require that a prospective candidate be interviewed by every single member.
