Hiring Committees Shared Values

Much has been written recently about the need for shared values as a way to provide direction in reorganized companies.

Consider these values identified recently by Fortune magazine: candor, integrity, facing reality, taking responsibility, being accountable, and respecting diversity. They sound like the prescription for a hiring committee decision meeting. If all hiring committees shared such values, we predict there would be fewer meetings, faster decisions and better selections.
