Jimmy Johnson's Resume Doesn't Predict Success

Jimmy Johnson was fired as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. His "Resume Factor" was excellent - two back to back Super Bowl championships - after starting five years ago with a 1 win, 15 loss season.

Why was he fired? He couldn't get along with the team owner, Jerry Jones. The lesson for interviewers: consider "fit" as well as job record. The Resumé Factor is least likely to predict on the job failure. A better predictor is the Performance Factors - Intellectual, Interpersonal, and Motivation.
