Who We Are
Interview EDGE® was established in the San Francisco Bay Area as an early pioneer in behavioral interviewing training. We work across the country and internationally with start-ups to Fortune 500 companies within a wide range of industries.
Our company was founded in 1982 by Jim Kennedy, author of one of the first books written for managers on how to make the right hiring decision – Getting Behind the Resume: Interviewing Today's Candidates. Over the years, we expanded into a nationwide team of associates.
What We Do
We provide training and coaching in competency-based behavioral interviewing techniques to anyone involved in the hiring process at their company. Our training is available as an instructor-led seminar, webinar, or self-paced online course. The easy-to-learn techniques are based on a proven and effective model we developed to support overloaded managers.
Behavioral interviewing is a technique that evaluates a candidate's past and present behavior to predict future on-the-job performance. Competency-based behavioral interviewing uses clearly defined competencies to evaluate candidates not only in terms of required education, knowledge and experience, but also in terms of behavioral attributes that are key for success in a specific job.
